Campaign for Scout Hall

Mill Valley Scout Hall is an historic building owned by Scout Hall, Inc., a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to serving the youth of Mill Valley.  It is governed and operated by an eight person volunteer Board of Directors consisting of adult members of the Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts. Scout Hall is completely separate and unaffiliated from the Boy and Girl Scouts of America and does not discriminate or deny use of Scout Hall in any way.

For almost a century, Scout Hall has been an integral part of the downtown Mill Valley landscape.  In 1919, it was purchased and donated to Scout Hall, Inc. by a local couple, Mr. and Mrs. George Billings. Today, Scout Hall is in continuous use by the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts as well as the, the Mill Valley Fire Department and other local youth groups, e.g., the Mill Valley Soccer Club and Pop Warner Football. For many years, it has been the home of the offices of the Mountain Play Association.

The Board has recently taken on the ambitious project of restoring this tired building, and bringing it back as fabulous meeting hall for our community. Please select us as your charity, to support this effort!

Here's Our Mission Statement :

The Mission of Mill Valley Scout Hall is to provide a facility where youth organizations located in the greater Mill Valley community, including but not limited to Scouting, can meet in a safe and welcoming environment, to further support the purposes of these organizations, and to be available to the public as an emergency shelter when the need for such occurs.
